 Recent transactions include advising

  • Credit Agricole, Royal Bank of Scotland and Citi as Mandated Lead Arrangers in relation to secured financing related to the acquisition of Polish television company Telewizja Polsat by Cyfrowy Polsat S.A., Poland’s leading satellite television broadcaster, also controlled by billionaire Zygmunt Solorz-Zak. It was one of the largest financing transactions in Poland in 2011, including a first classic high-yield structure on the Polish market
  • Mid Europa Partners on all aspects of its divestment from Aster, the leading Polish cable-TV company and Poland's first quadruple-play service provider, offering television, broadband internet and mobile and fixed-line telephony services. The deal which was signed in December 2010 was cited as the largest private equity transaction of 2010 in the CEE
  • on the corporate merger of Santander Consumer Bank S.A. with AIG Bank Polska S.A. The merger followed a joint venture entered into by Santander and AIG in June 2010
  • Eurohypo AG and ING Bank NV in connection with a facility for the acquisition of nine shopping centres across Poland by GE Capital Real Estate Polish Retail Fund. It was the largest single transaction real estate portfolio financing in Poland since 2004
