Linklaters is advising Wendel on its exclusive negotiations with TE Connectivity Ltd. in the context of the project to sell the entire share capital of Deutsch, the world specialist in high performance connectors. Wendel has received a firm offer valuing Deutsch at 2.1 billion dollars (1.55 billion Euros).
An international multidisciplinary team led by David Swinburne, Partner, has been created for the purposes of this transaction. He is assisted by Julien Wagmann, Martin Ozanne, Marine Delaitre and Sophie Roqueplo on the corporate aspects. Anne Wachsmann, Partner, and Nicolas Zacharie, Counsel, are advising on the merger control aspects. The banking and employment aspects are being managed by Kathryn Merryfield, Counsel, and Jérôme Cordier, Counsel, respectively.
