The FSA has fined Exillon Energy plc for failing to maintain adequate systems to identify related party transactions and failing to comply with the Listing Rules requirements in respect of those transactions.

The Supreme Court has rejected Mr Seldon’s appeal in Seldon v Clarkson Wright and Jakes, finding that there is more limited scope for justifying direct age discrimination, which must be justified by reference to legitimate social policy objectives, than in respect of indirect discrimination, which was considered in the case of Homer v Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police heard by the Supreme Court on the same day as Seldon.
