As the head of the Global Project Finance practice based in London, Bruce has an unsurpassed reputation for project financing in the London market and has established a market leading team advising on PPP, infrastructure and energy projects not only in the UK, but throughout Europe.

The leading name in domestic PFI/PPP, he was the first choice of HM Treasury for its work to establish and operate Treasury Infrastructure Finance Unit (TIFU). Over the past year Bruce has advised on:

  • the Nottingham Express Transit project;
  • the Bristol Hospital PPP project;
  • the Belmarsh Prison PFI project;
  • the Defence Training Review (DTR) and Search and Rescue Helicopter (SARH) projects;
  • the Barnsley Doncaster and Rotherham (BDR) and South Tyne and Wear Waste PFI projects;
  • the Sheffield Highways Maintenance project;
  • the Canary Wharf Crossrail project; and
  • on RBS’ £3.9 billion sale of project finance assets to The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd and other subsidiaries made up of global power, global oil & gas and infrastructure assets in the UK, EMEA, APAC and the Middle East.
