Experience
Jeremy is a partner with over 15 years of experience advising lenders and sponsors on a variety of deals across the energy value chain. He is a co-leader of the firm’s Energy & Utilities Group and heads up our power and energy trading teams.
Over the past 18 months his significant deals included advising:
- on the GDF SUEZ/International Power merger;
- on the disposals of BG’s power plants in England, Northern Ireland, Italy and the US;
- on the acquisition and financing of Eggborough power station in the UK;
- on the Egemer IPP – a greenfield project for a new-build 900MW CCGT plant in Turkey; and
- a major international utility on the disposal of a substantial UK transmission asset.
On the trading side, Jeremy advised on the Calyon/EDF and Morgan Stanley/Ineos energy trading joint ventures and on a series of high profile commodities deals.
Jeremy is also recognised as a leading lawyer (Band 1) by Chambers Global in Projects in the UK.
